Gopinath Singh Mahila Mahavidyalaya, Garhwa was established on 12th Oct. 1998. The college was granted affiliation up to Intermediate level in 1998. Initially the college was started at Govt. girl’s high school Garhwa and shifted to its own new building at Kalyanpur spread over 5.00 acres of land in 2008.Garhwa is a town located near the border of Uttar Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. It’s a district head quarter. It is one of the most backward district of Jharkhand in the field of education, health care and economic status.Education has always been an attentive part of human life.
